Elisabet Lindberg, 54, and her partner will both start studying this autumn and commute weekly. Elisabet, who is a nursing assistant, will be studying neuropsychiatric care in Uppsala.
– We decided to move to simpler accommodation without snow shoveling and lawn mowing. This spring, we found the terraced house, which has a nice location just five kilometers outside Gävle.

At the viewing, there were lit candles and a lot of people, and the couple didn't notice any distinct smoke smell. So they were dismayed when they got the keys and entered the house to take some measurements.
– It smelled of old smoke in all rooms. Sour, sharp and musty. The house is from the 80s and the previous owner was a smoker; the blind cords were bright yellow. I cried and said: Are we moving into an ashtray?
