The next generation of air purifiers is here: "Sold out in no time"

Nästa generation luftrenare är här: ”Sålde slut på nolltid”

A new type of air purifier for home use has now become available. The same technology is used in healthcare to remove pollutants, bacteria, viruses, and allergens – both in the air and on surfaces.

It's a world first that this technology can now be used in private homes. The air purifier sold out immediately, says Johan Lundberg, founder of the Luleå-based company Ozoneair, which is behind the product.

Purifies both the air and surfaces

There are many air purifiers for home use on the market, and they all have one thing in common: they purify the air with a so-called HEPA filter. The new Purify air purifier does not rely on filters but uses Oxyplasma® – a unique technology that purifies the air in the space – and its surfaces.

– Purify actively combats pollutants before they start to spread in your environment. It doesn't just purify the air that passes through it, like a conventional air purifier – but purifies all the air in the space and also its surfaces, says Johan Lundberg, founder of Ozoneair, and continues;

– It removes pollutants that are a thousand times smaller than what filters in a conventional air purifier can capture.

New research and independent lab tests show that Purify and its innovative Oxyplasma® removed 99.24% of viruses in the air and on surfaces after 2 hours of use. Purify can thus provide an extra layer of protection against the spread of infection and at the same time disinfect surfaces.

Already used in healthcare

The same technology that makes Purify so effective is already used in hospitals to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and other airborne substances, and to disinfect surfaces.

– With Purify, this technology is for the first time available to private individuals, but also to companies that want to purify the air in the office or store, as well as for schools, preschools, and similar establishments, says Johan Lundberg.

"Smells freshly cleaned and aired out at home"

Elisabeth Salonen from Halland bought her Purify directly when it was launched in September.

– Of course, I want to keep the air at home as free from viruses and other harmful particles as possible – especially now that flu season is approaching, says Elisabeth and continues;
– The air at home feels fresher and healthier since we installed Purify. It's almost like we've constantly aired out and cleaned the dwelling! It's clear that the air purifier also removes everything from dust mites and mold spores to stale odors.

Purify is easy to install

– Our Purify runs 24/7 and is virtually silent. It comes with a stand, but we have mounted ours on the wall. It has a sleek design that blends in nicely with the rest of the decor.

Purify primarily feels like a sense of security, says Elisabeth.

– I can't control what particles land in our home – everything from coronaviruses to chemicals and pollutants from traffic. But with Purify, I have at least done everything possible to ensure healthy indoor air.
