Driving on muddy forest roads with a car that has a light-colored interior sounds like a bad idea. But for Arvid Öberg, it's no problem – he's found a solution that keeps his car fresh week after week.
Arvid Öberg, 27, from Luleå loves to breathe in the fresh forest air and enjoy the silence among the spruce trees. Much of his free time is spent picking berries and mushrooms, and taking care of the family's forest land. Since 2022, he has been driving a four-wheel-drive car – a must for navigating the often muddy forest roads.
Nothing strange about that, but it might stand out that he chose a car with light-colored upholstery. For Arvid, this means he often has to clean the car.
– It's important to take care of your car; it's a matter of pride and shows that you care about it, he says.
The forest, the car, and everyday life
The family owns large forest areas. Arvid helps clear the forest – always with his car as a companion.
– It's impossible not to get dirt or mud in the car. But I bought a textile cleaner that makes it easy to keep it clean.
