Bad smells are a common problem in our homes, but also in cars, boats, caravans, and motorhomes.
It can be mold and stale odors caused by dampness, poor ventilation, sewage, and stuffiness. Cigarette smoke and pets are other common causes of disturbing odors.
Sanitizes in a completely new way
The Swedish innovation Ozoneair has made it possible to sanitize at home on your own in a completely new way: Using ozone gas which removes all odors.
Camilla Eklund, 42, lives in the village of Häradsbygden outside Leksand. The family has two horses that live in a stable on the farm.
– We muck out and sweep the stable every day, and clean with a high-pressure washer in the summer, but of course, it smells in a stable. The odors can be caused by ammonia from the horses' droppings, sweaty horse gear, wet blankets, damp manes and coats, and so on.
The stale smell in the basement disappeared
Adjacent to the stable is the "tack room", a room that, although it has ventilation, lacks windows, so it's not possible to air it out.
– We store things there, and it had started to smell stuffy, almost like cat urine – a smell we couldn't get rid of no matter how much we cleaned.
Camilla got a tip from her father – who lives in the same village – to try the new Ozoneair.
– He got his Ozoneair to get rid of the stale smell in his basement. He is super happy, all the stale smell is gone. We decided to test the machine in our stable.
"Just press a button"
Using Ozoneair was easier than Camilla had thought.
– Firstly, the machine is quite small and light, we could transport it in a box on the bike.
Then she placed the Ozoneair in the stable aisle, closed the stable windows, and opened the door to the tack room so that the ozone gas would spread and sanitize that room too.
– It was just a matter of connecting the machine to an electrical outlet and pressing a button.
A natural gas
The Ozoneair product is fully automatic. It converts the oxygen in the air into ozone gas, also known as active oxygen and consisting of three oxygen atoms. The gas is highly oxidizing and therefore sanitizes very effectively.

What odors can Ozoneair remove?
– Virtually all – such as mold smell, stale smell, smoke smell, animal smell, urine smell, chemical smell, impregnation smell. You can use it in your home, in the car, motorhome, caravan, boat, basement, crawl space – yes, in all rooms and spaces where you are bothered by bad odors.
Camilla Eklund says:
– Ozoneair worked for four hours in our stable. Afterwards, the air was completely different. It smells fresh and neutral, that typical stable smell is gone. We will sanitize with Ozoneair every summer when we do a deep clean and use the high-pressure washer.
Helmets and other gear odor-sanitized
In addition to the air feeling fresher and the smell being less in the stable, the items inside are also cleaned by the ozone, if you let them hang or lie out while Ozoneair is working. The gas penetrates into helmets, saddles, and other items and removes bad odors that have taken hold.
